Over half a century ago, the year 1950, marked a new beginning of a family established business under the name of Rani Silks. The trade began as a small shop-based retail textile business in the busy Phaorat District of Bangkok, specifically supplying to the domestic market. After a few years, the establishment stressed on growth, thus the business grew to importing textile from different commercial areas of the globe, ranging from Czechoslovakia, Austria, and Japan. The trade was slowly transforming from a retail oriented business to wholesale distribution locally and internationally.
The next step was taken in 1982 in the rise of the economy where a manufacturing unit was set up, thus becoming part of the Rani Silks Group of Companies. Currently Oriental Embroidery Lace is a brand of quality in embroidered fabrics to be seen in many of the high-fashion industries throughout the globe. |
